GEORGETOWN CHOIR
It's time to make a joyful noise and we need your voice! The Georgetown Choir for ages High School to adult, rehearsals are on Wednesdays, at 7:30 in room E40.
We use a wide variety of music styles to help lead worship at the 9:15 service. This is a
great opportunity to share God's message through music ministry and be a welcome
part of a unique small group ministry. Any questions, contact Lynette Cole or
find a choir member and let them share with you how being involved shapes their life.
PRAISE TEAM AND BAND
If you enjoy singing contemporary Christian music or you play the guitar, bass or any other instrument and would like to use your talents once or twice a month (or even occasionally) playing with the Worship Team.
Contact Diane deVries for information how you can help with worship at the 10:45 service.
BELL CHOIR
Do you love music? I'm looking for a group of men and women of any age who are interested in learning how to play hand bells. Musical experience is welcome but not necessary-we'll start with the basics. If this sounds like an opportunity that you would like to explore, please contact Diane deVries at Diane deVries. I'll look forward to hearing from you!
CHILDREN'S CHOIRS AT GUMC
Children's music is an important ministry at our church. With music, children learn to minister to others about God's love using their gifts of music and prayer. If your child enjoys singing and playing games in a spirit-filled environment, our choirs are a great place to be! At Georgetown, we have two choirs - the Sonshine Mountain Choir is for children age 3 through 2nd grade. The third through sixth graders are in the United Methodist Ministry Choir.
