Christian Education
Sunday morning classes for youth are during the 9:15am service in the youth room.
All youth in grades 7-12 are invited to join us for a continental breakfast, fun activities, and spiritual discussion. Friends are welcome!
The last day for the school year will be Sunday, May 4th.
Breakfast will be provided by the YAC (Youth Advisory Council) and all leaders will be there for fun and games!
Small Groups monthly spiritual study, Sunday, May 18th, 6:30 - 8pm.. Contact your small group leader for more information, or Bonnie Green if you need to know who your leader is.
Wednesday Night Events
April 30: Modern Art night - 6:30 - 8:30pm. meet in the Youth Room. Wear clothes that can get dirty (spray paint will be used)!
May 7: Pick up night for the GFS A La Carte Fundraiser, 5 - 8pm. If you participated in this fundraiser, please plan on picking up your items for your customers - remember, these products are refrigerated or frozen!
May 14: No REBELS - see special events for May 17.
Special Events
Sunday, May 4: Prayer Partner Lunch, 12:30 - 1:30pm in the Youth Room. Come have lunch with your Prayer Partner, meet them if you don't know them, and see how the year went!
Saturday, May 17: Rock the Coast at Michigan Adventure! End the year with a bang and join the REBELS for a day of roller coasters and music! One ticket provides admission to the park for Saturday and Sunday, lunch Saturday, and the Saturday night concert. Bands scheduled to appear are Hawk Nelson, Group 1 Crew and Run Kid Run. Tickets are $35 and must be purchased in advance (available at Meijer) on your own. We'll leave at 10am and return around 11pm. Please RSVP to Amy Herring or Wendy to reserve your spot in the van! Reservations also available on facebook.
Sunday, June 1: Graduation Sunday - the graduating seniors will be celebrated with a breakfast for them, their families, and the rest of the REBELS during the 9:15am service in the Youth Room.
Fundraising
Pancake Breakfast: Saturday, May 10, 8 - 10am, at the Grandville Applebee's. Youth needed to help serve breakfast and collect money. Please contact Wendy to volunteer.
2008 Mission Trip
2008 Mission Trip attendees: Total balance due to John Green on May 4th.. Please contact John Green if you need to know your youth account balance.
Dates for Mission Trippers:
- June 4 - Pre-trip meeting.
- June 8 - Commissioning Service (attend whichever services you can)
- June 11 - Pre-trip meeting
- June 29 - Mission Trip Services (both)
